Shopping
BurJuman
One of Dubai's oldest malls, BurJuman is a paradise for fashion lovers. You can browse for luxury designer labels as well as high-street brands like Splash, Zara, H&M, Inglot and Aldo. There are also plenty of speciality stores including Sharaf DG for electronics and a Carrefour Hypermarket for essentials.
After shopping, grab some lunch or dinner at tempting restaurants offering a variety of cuisines including Italian, Indian, Iranian and Lebanese. Or refuel with a quick bite at the food court, with over two dozen outlets. Treat your kids to a power-packed gaming session at Magic Planet, or catch the latest blockbusters at VOX Cinemas – a 14-screen multiplex.
Fun for everyone at BurJuman
In recent years, the mall has undergone a revamp and extension, and BurJuman is also well-known for its seasonal festivals and family-friendly events.
Nestled within one of old Dubai's heritage districts, Bur Dubai, the best way to reach BurJuman is via the Dubai Metro from any direction. Jump off at BurJuman Metro Station to discover a sanctuary of shopping and entertainment for the whole family.
Opening hours and timings
BurJuman's stores are open from 10am to 10pm (Sunday to Thursday) and until 11pm (Friday and Saturday). The food and beverage venues within the mall are open until 11pm (Sunday to Thursday) and until midnight on the other days. Cafes within the mall open at various times to cater to early officer-goers as well as night owls, so it's best to check whichever coffee shop you're interested in visiting. If you're looking to go to Carrerfour, the hypermarket is open from 9am to midnight every day.
For anyone hoping to avoid crowds, it's best to arrive earlier in the day, and if you're using the metro, remember that it gets very busy during rush hour. Set aside at least two or three hours to shop and eat within the mall, and longer if you're hoping to catch a movie at VOX Cinemas or enjoy arcade and online games at Magic Planet.
