SushiYaki
Two of Japan’s most loved dishes, sushi and yakitori, are celebrated at SushiYaki in Souk Madinat Jumeirah. Created by the team behind Clay and SAN Beach, SushiYaki aims to offer a fresh perspective on Japanese cuisine in Dubai.
Helmed by head chef Jolbi Huacho, the kitchen curates a menu of contemporary dishes that range from starters such as salmon tuna tacos, chicken sandos and popcorn shrimp to main courses including wagyu striploin and black cod.

Highlights from the sushi selection include a variety of maki, such as o-toro with bluefin tuna and black shari rice, topped with truffle pearls and wagyu which combines striploin, red chilli sauce and banana tempura. The yakitori menu is equally as tempting, with plates such as tsukune with wagyu beef and lime zest and chicken thigh with shoyukay sauce.
During the cooler months, SushiYaki’s large outdoor terrace is an ideal spot to relax and watch the abra boats go by. Indoors, the venue is decorated with AI-generated art, Japanese-style parasols and leather furniture in shades of deep green or dark red, while atmospheric lighting gives the space a moody feel.
