The Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) is an entity established pursuant to Law No. 20 of 2021 and having its principal address at P.O. Box 594, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. DET is the principal authority for the planning, supervision, development and marketing of tourism in Dubai. DET also markets and promotes Dubai’s commerce sector and is responsible for the licensing and classification of all tourism services, including hotels establishments, tour operators, travel agents and all other tourism services.
