Bluewaters Island
A short drive from the Dubai Marina neighbourhood, Bluewaters Island hosts everything from spectacular hotels and sun-kissed beach clubs to more than 200 shops and restaurants. The record-breaking Ain Dubai is the centrepiece of this lifestyle destination, but don't miss the chance to snap a selfie with wax figurines of superstars like Justin Bieber at Madame Tussauds too. Afterwards, have a meal to remember at dining hotspots such as Clay and The London Project.

Palm Jumeirah
Named after its distinctive palm tree outline, this manmade marvel is an unmissable sight so head straight to The View at The Palm to take in the sky-high views. Back on the ground, Palm Jumeirah offers plenty to do. Dubai Islands
Located nearby Old Dubai, the Dubai Islands are home to beautiful beachfronts and all-inclusive resorts like RIU Hotels and Resorts and Centara Hotels and Resorts where families can unwind. Accessible by both land and sea, the islands have six marinas that can accommodate a host of yachts. Meanwhile, those wanting to indulge in retail therapy can hop over to Souk Al Marfa that houses over 400 shops, selling everything from carpets and spices to clothing and gifts.

The World Islands
This famed archipelago, designed to resemble a world map, currently has two spectacular ‘islands’ open to visitors. Check in to the Anantara World Islands for an unforgettable getaway. Named after its distinct shape, the Crescent Moon Island is located around 70kms from the Dubai’s coastline. Several leading tour operators, including Sky and Sea Adventures, now organise seasonal fishing trips, luxury yacht cruises and specialist dives at this hidden gem, which is rich in colourful marine life. Dive in and you'll likely spot groupers, snappers, barracudas, rockfish and more.
