A city that’s safe for solo female travellers, Dubai caters to women looking for relaxing experiences. Ladies-only beaches offer an ideal day out for visitors seeking both serenity and privacy in a picturesque setting.
Head to Dubai’s ladies-only beaches
One of the top spots for rest and relaxation in a female-only environment is Al Mamzar Beach Park. On Mondays and Wednesdays, this public beach welcomes women and children (including boys up to the age of six) to enjoy the space to themselves. Entry to the beach costs AED5, and an all-female staff are on hand to ensure visitors enjoy their privacy to the fullest.
Another option is Dubai Ladies Club, which is solely for women and children. Located in Jumeirah, this private space offers a range of facilities and services including a private beach, swimming pools, a spa, a gym and fitness classes. While residents are encouraged to take membership packages, Dubai Ladies Club also offers daily entrance passes with access to the private ladies-only beach and swimming pool, or access to the gym.
Ladies' days at beach clubs
While beach clubs in Dubai are not segregated by gender, if you’re a female traveller interested in trying out various beach clubs, many have ladies’ days with enticing offers on food plus beach and pool access. With sun and sea paired with vibrant live music, these venues offer something for everyone. Check out these spots for a fun day in the sun:
What to wear and carry for a beach day
When heading out for a beach and pool day in Dubai, ensure you have light clothing, a swimsuit, flip-flops, high SPF sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses. Remember to reapply the sunscreen regularly throughout the day. If you’re out at any of Dubai’s beach clubs, you will have access to water but make sure you have a spare bottle of water with you to stay hydrated – especially on the beach.
All these locations offer a range of amenities and services that are tailored to female travellers. All details and offers are subject to change, so do contact the beach clubs or authorities directly for any updates before planning your day out.
