SALT Camp
Every year, trendy burger brand SALT creates a cool and creative pop-up called SALT Camp. The seasonal event takes place next to Museum of the Future, and the fourth edition is Japanese themed. Fresh from their trip to Japan, the SALT team wanted to shine a light on the landscape of the country, as well as a particular chef named Shima. A documentary was also created in his honour and is shown frequently at the camp’s outdoor cinema. The signature dish for this season is the chef Shima steak sando, a hearty meat sandwich packed with flavour.
Caia Bamboo
The team behind popular Jumeirah cafe Caia have created a pop-up concept called Caia Bamboo. The space is hidden within Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve, close to Al Qudra Lakes. Here you’ll find an elegant outdoor venue, with a wooden structure and soft white curtains, a picturesque water feature and a menu of coffee and sweet treats to satisfy your cravings.
Hidden Dubai
Hidden Dubai offers an alfresco dining experience in the Dubai desert. Nestled in an offbeat location, this cafe is a treasure trove of gastronomic delights, serving an array of dishes, coffees and sweet treats. Each visit to Hidden Dubai is an adventure in itself, as you journey deep into the dunes to taste traditional local specialties and other contemporary fusion dishes. The pop-up venue is designed to reflect Dubai's rich tapestry of cultures, with areas to relax on deck chairs and a huge mirror structure to take the perfect desert selfie.
Parker's at Jumeirah Beach Hotel
Parker's, renowned for its Instagram-worthy dishes, has launched a pop-up at Jumeirah Beach Hotel. This temporary venue offers a chance to indulge in their signature burgers, delicious desserts and inventive fusion dishes, all against the backdrop of the hotel's picturesque beach views. Perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family, it's an opportunity to experience Parker's diverse flavours in one of Dubai's iconic locations.
Keturah Reserve
This winter, Keturah Reserve in Dubai’s Meydan welcomes two exciting pop-ups from Lila Taqueria and FIYA, adding a vibrant culinary dimension to the season. Lila Taqueria brings a burst of Mexican flavours, offering a menu rich in authentic tacos and other street food favourites, perfect for those seeking a lively, culturally rich dining experience. Meanwhile, FIYA introduces a fusion of tastes, blending diverse culinary traditions in a contemporary setting. These pop-ups join Matcha and Home Bakery, making Keturah Reserve a must-visit destination for Dubai visitors.
Canteen X
The debut edition of Canteen X has introduced the culinary expertise of Dubai’s burgeoning food scene to Mushrif Park, running from 15-31 December. At this exclusive Dubai Shopping Festival experience, you can to try out over 20 homegrown foodie brands including some items being showcased for the very first-time ever. Discover new flavours, with so many delicious dishes to choose from. Free to enter and open each day from 4pm until 1am, explore a wonder-filled outdoor market jam-packed with family-friendly entertainment for all ages including large inflatables, trampolines and bungee experiences and a child out gaming zone. Plus, watch entertaining films on a large screen in the Mushrif Park parking, where guests will have the option to tune in through their radio’s and order food from the comfort of their cars.
