Take a trip on Dubai Metro

Need a quick, reliable and inexpensive way of getting around the city? Look no further than Dubai Metro, which consists of two main lines (Red and Green) that span almost 90km.

Get your ticket to ride

Buy single, return and day-pass tickets or a Nol card, which is a rechargeable smart ticket that offers cheaper fares. Purchases can be made at all Dubai Metro stations, plus bus stations and supermarkets. Nol cards can also be used on other methods of public transport, including buses, trams and taxis.

Enjoy easy sightseeing

The Red line runs mostly parallel to Sheikh Zayed Road and connects to key locations across the city – including Dubai International Airport, Dubai Mall/Burj Khalifa, Dubai Marina, Ibn Battuta Mall and Expo City Dubai.

Go on a cultural journey

The Green line is a great pick for anyone wishing to see the city’s cultural highlights in and around Dubai Creek – such as Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood, BurJuman mall and the Gold, Perfume and Textile Souks.

Choose your cabin

Dubai Metro has different options for passengers according to their journey requirements. Silver Class is standard, and includes cabins for women and children only, while Gold Class costs a little extra and features plush leather seats. The metro is also accessible for wheelchair users.

Try the tram

Travel in style between Jumeirah Beach Residence and Al Sufouh aboard Dubai Tram, which connects to Dubai Metro at Dubai Marina and Jumeirah Lakes Towers. Stops include Palm Jumeirah, where you can board a monorail to explore the world-famous archipelago.
