One of the world’s most beautiful museums (as recognised by National Geographic magazine), this instantly iconic landmark opened in February 2022. Inside, visitors can glimpse how science and technology will help societies to evolve in the coming decades.
Look at the building’s façade and you’ll see it’s covered in Arabic calligraphy. This is actually poetry written by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. One inspiring quote reads: “The future belongs to those who imagine it, design it and execute it.”
Embark on a journey to 2071 via the exhibits and marvel at the cutting-edge tech that will improve our lives. Each floor of the museum is like an interactive movie set, covering topics from space travel and climate issues to health and spirituality. Kids aged three to 10 will love the Future Heroes exhibition, which encourages them to change the world.
Explore a colourful DNA library containing thousands of species. This installation offers a close-up look at the beauty and diversity of life on Earth and compels us to take better care of the planet we all call home.
For a unique perspective of the museum (and a perfect snap for social media), step onto the viewing deck. Located on level two, the outside deck is in the structure’s centre – giving you a great look at its façade as well as the day-to-day buzz of life in Dubai.
