Dubai Marina Walk
A picturesque waterfront attraction, Dubai Marina Walk is a seven-kilometre palm tree-lined path bordering the neighbourhood's popular emerald-hued waterway.

Dubai Marina Walk is really a lifestyle destination, thanks to the huge range of leisure, dining and retail options. The al fresco setting has made the Dubai Marina Walk a popular location for some of the biggest brands and top restaurants in the city, like those at the harbour-side Pier 7 venue. Located right in the middle of the Dubai Marina is the Dubai Marina Mall, with a host of high-end retail options, restaurants, a cinema as well as groceries - making it a great spot to shop and relax.
When the season is right, spend the day cycling or jogging before returning for a sunset meal at any of the dozens of cafes and eateries. Or, you can head over for a relaxing day at the spa among the marina views.
The Dubai Marina Walk is free to visit and open at all hours, but as can be expected, the attractions along the promenade are subject to their individual opening hours as well as their own dress codes, so do check with each venue you're interested in visiting.

Dotted along the promenade are plenty of options for sight-seeing from the water. From general tours or fishing and diving tours, to chartering your own private yacht - it's a great way to see the coastline in style. Why not also consider taking a boat ride from the Dubai Marina at night? The night-time ambience is simply stunning, with glittering lights all around.
You can also get your adrenaline pumping by getting on the world's longest urban zipline, the XLine Dubai Marina. With the entrance located within Dubai Marina Mall, start from 170m high and travel 1km along the Dubai Marina at speeds of up to 80km/h with a camera recording your every thrilling second on the ride.

Look down the walkway, and you’ll also see the never-ending stretch of restaurants and cafes lining the edge of the water. Pier 7 is one such highlight of the neighbourhod's dining district; with each level housing a fine dining restaurant like Atelier M or Asia Asia, you'll be spoiled for choice with varied cuisines and amazing views to match. There are also a number of cafes and casual restaurants dotted along the Marina Walk, from the likes of waterside brasserie Bistro Des Arts or popular hotspot Cafe Bateel - so take a leisurely walk and choose whatever takes your fancy.
The bustling area is also home to a number of hotels such as the InterContinental Dubai Marina which overlooks the Dubai Marina Walk and featurs dining options including Papas Dubai. Other hotels along the promenade are the likes of Vida Dubai Marina & Yacht Club, JW Marriott Hotel Marina and the Grosvenor House Dubai - all with enticing dining options.
How to get to Dubai Marina Walk
Dubai Marina Walk's location is conveniently near multiple public transport options, and since it lies just off of the city's primary highway Sheikh Zayed Road, it is also easily accessible by car and taxi.
Dubai Metro and Tram: The beautiful waterfront area is walkable from two tram stops – Jumeirah Lake Towers and Dubai Marina – which you can connect to from the DMCC or Sobha Realty metro stations.
Bus: One of the closest routes is Bus 8, which stops at Mina Al Siyahi, Le Meridien Hotel 1, and is a 10-12 minute walk away.
Alternatively, if you're driving from a location like Jumeirah Emirates Towers towards the Marina Walk, get on Sheikh Zayed Rd/E11 to Alkhayay St. Exit and continue until the promenade.
