Tabu
From the moment you enter Tabu, set on the mezzanine floor of The St. Regis Downtown hotel, you'll be surrounded by a sophisticated opulence.
The Middle Eastern and Asian menu is complemented with sides of entertainment, including a resident DJ as well as roaming theatrical performances.
Culinary excellence at Tabu
St. Regis executive chef Juan Luis and Tabu's head chef, Mohamad Alshemal have created a fusion of Middle Eastern and Asian techniques within the menu, with a range of flavours to be savoured from all over the world.
Sample dishes like wagyu beef tartare and prawn kibbeh with herbs, but also otoro tartare with sesame cones and avo-yuzu koshu, caviar, and gold, with the option of nigiri, maki and ceviches to complement the meal. The journey doesn't end there, as Tabu also has a collection of signature dishes such as slow braised wagyu beef short rib served with Japanese rice and shiitake mushroom and salmon fillet with ponzu-teriyaki sauce, sesame mashed potato and asparagus.
The comprehensive menu that has something for everyone, with the team committing to using as much of locally sourced ingredients as possible.
