3D World Selfie Museum

Dubai is full of Instagrammable spots and now a dedicated museum can help you snap the perfect selfie. The 3D World Selfie Museum is the largest of its kind, covering 21,000sqft and packed full of mind-bending illusions. Housing 185 pieces of art spread out across walls, ceilings and floors, the immersive paintings draw you into the scene and help you become part of the artwork – perfect for snapping that all-important photo.

Each artwork has been painstakingly hand-painted using water-based colours – scenes include a lightsaber battle with a Star Wars clone, a photoshoot with a grizzly bear, and stepping into Alice’s shoes in Wonderland.

The interactive art museum features nine themed zones, including Illusion, Arabian, Egyptian, Water World, Animal Kingdom, Masterpieces, Fantasy, Jungle and Humour. If you’re struggling with angles, staff members are on hand to help you pose for snapshots from different vantage points. Just make sure your phone is fully charged for the occasion.

If you get peckish from all the posing, a mini on-site cafe will provide you with a much-needed refuel. It’s also worth taking an outfit change if you’re planning on posting multiple shots on social media.
