The Dubai experience
With so many feats of architecture, a dazzling calendar of world-class events and endless shopping possibilities, it’s easy to get lost in everything that Dubai has to offer. And, though there are myriad ways to spend a four-day trip to the city, there is an essential list of landmarks and attractions that must be ticked off by every visitor.
You can't visit Dubai without exploring its pristine coastline, and few places are as spectacular as Dubai luxury hotel, the Burj Al Arab. One of the most famous landmarks in Dubai, the sail-shaped building has helped put the emirate on the global tourism map. The hotel includes a range of fine dining restaurants, incredible beaches and the expansive Burj Al Arab Terrace. Equally famous, however, is Dubai's man-made island, the Palm Jumeirah, a series of artificial archipelagos shaped like a palm tree. The unique island is home to some of the emirate's top luxury resorts, including Atlantis, The Palm, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, One&Only The Palm and many more.
Further inland, in Downtown Dubai, lies another architectural marvel. Truly a feat of engineering, the Burj Khalifa is the world’s tallest building representing the conceptual heart and soul of the city. At 828m tall, this magnificent structure is located next to The Dubai Mall and has drawn visitors from all over the world since its opening in 2010. Venture further down Sheikh Zayed Road to Dubai Creek to enjoy the old school charm of the city's past or take a stroll around Al Seef for a spot of retail therapy. From Dubai’s best views to the city’s most stunning beaches, this four-day itinerary covers all of the essentials for your Dubai holiday.
