The Green Planet is Dubai’s very own tropical rainforest. With more than 3,000 species of plants, animals and birds, this is a sanctuary of exotic flora and fauna. Appealing to visitors of all ages, it is the perfect spot for a family outing or school visit, and even caters to fun events like a picnic, swimming with piranhas or playing zookeeper for a day.

Aiming to educate guests about the important role the tropical forest plays in the future of Earth, The Green Planet exposes Dubai to another world within its glass dome – all of which is responsibly sourced.

Experience wildlife wonders at The Green Planet

The biodome here is made up of four levels: the Canopy, the Midstory, the Forest Floor and the Flooded Rainforest. Each level discusses the role and the importance every part of a rainforest plays. The Green Planet is an experience for the senses, with creatures roaming around and waterfalls running strong.

In 2022, the venue began an animal exchange programme with Dubai Safari Park, allowing fascinating creatures to be safely moved to a new home. The initiative fosters the sharing of animal welfare information as well as conservation-focused breeding.
