Cayan Tower
A firm must-see on an architectural tour of Dubai, the city’s twisting Cayan Tower is an iconic element of the Dubai Marina skyline. The 73-storey Cayan Tower, formerly referred to as Infinity Tower, is the tallest building in the world that boasts a 90-degree spiral. The building houses 495 luxury apartments.
Each floor was carefully designed to be rotated 1.2 degrees in comparison to the previous floor, forming a unique and stunning twist in the architecture. You can appreciate the striking structure on a walking expedition or dhow boat ride around the neighbourhood.
Cayan Tower – a high-rise marvel
The concept design for this tower was done by the same architectural group that designed the Burj Khalifa. The residential rooms are conceived in such a way as not to be affected by direct sunlight – thanks to the use of titanium-coloured metal panels, with concrete columns and staggered screens.
Known for its skyscrapers, don't miss the surrounding lofty sights while in Dubai Marina, such as the Princess Tower and The Marina Torch. If you want to admire the same architecture from a new perspective, take a ride on XLine – the longest urban zipline – and later, cool down with a culinary treat at Pier 7.
