Hakkasan Dubai
It's original London branch was put on the culinary map as soon as it was awarded stars by the Michelin guide and the local location of Hakkasan – also a Michelin-starred venue – lives up to billing. The UK-bred, Chinois-chic chain of eateries, found by Alan Yau, are now all over the world with Atlantis The Palm playing host to it in Dubai.
Marble-topped tables, with lacquer wood and powder blue hues, are complemented by subtle oak latticework that lends privacy to groups. Dim lighting and an ambient soundtrack provided by the resident DJ adds to the upmarket atmosphere.

The dishes are overseen by acclaimed chef Andy Toh Chye Siong, and the design is a modern, glitzy take on Shanghai glam. The Cantonese focussed menu features a number of Hakkasan’s signature dishes, including the stir-fried black pepper rib-eye, crispy duck salad and dim sum filled wicker baskets.
An ever-evolving menu ensures regulars keep coming back. With newly devised vegan options, and a wide selection of vegetarian fare, all tastes are catered to, with the importance of sustainability another aspect the kitchen is aware of.
