Wyndham Dubai Marina

Enjoy convenient comfort in a trendy district at this four-star hotel
closebackBack

With its stylish and comfortable rooms, great facilities and a handy location, the Wyndham Dubai Marina is an ideal hotel choice for many traveller types. Located towards the south-western end of Dubai Marina, voted one of the world’s coolest neighbourhoods, the property gives easy access to beaches, malls and the city’s attractions.

Take a stroll along Dubai Marina Walk, the waterway’s extensive pedestrian promenade, or catch the hotel’s complimentary shuttle bus to nearby attractions or the nearest Dubai Metro station. There’s also a shuttle service from the hotel to Soluna Beach Club on Palm Jumeirah.

Things to do and hotel facilities

While the hotel isn’t on the beach, it does provide its guests access to Soluna Beach Club, based at sister property Wyndham Residences The Palm. The club is exclusively for the use of Wyndham guests, and is a great way to enjoy the iconic Palm Jumeirah.

Packages start at AED100 per person (of which you can redeem AED50 on food and drinks) and range up to AED900 for a three-person private cabana, with AED750 redeemable on refreshments. Hotel guests can also get 20% off watersports activities at the beach club.

Back at the hotel itself, you can find facilities including a well-equipped fitness centre and the Rayya Wellness Spa to help you maintain body and mind. The property also has a conference room which can be booked for business meetings or events.

The hotel’s swimming pool boasts views of the stunning Dubai Marina skyline – and if you’re not in the mood for a dip, then you can just relax at the poolside lounge. And guests staying in Club Rooms can enjoy the Club Lounge, with complimentary breakfast and refreshments available every day.

Restaurants and dining options

The Wyndham Dubai Marina has three great in-house restsaurants: The Blacksmith is a casual American-themed eatery, focusing on meat dishes, while Alloro Ristorante is a fine-dining Italian restaurant providing home-made pasta and other delicacies. For a less-formal option head to Terrazza by Alloro, which offers many of the same dishes as Alloro in an al-fresco setting.

Soluna Beach Club features two dining options: Enas Mediterranean Restaurant, with dishes perfect for sharing, and Risen Café and Artisanal Bakery, great for lighter options or just a cup of coffee. The main hotel also has two casual outlets: Hello Café for quick bites, and the Chillz poolside lounge for more laid-back refreshment.

Rooms and suites

The property’s accommodation options start with the Superior Room, 26sqm in size and with King or Twin bed options, plus some rooms with balconies – or for more space try the One Bedroom Suite at 35sqm, with separate sleeping and living areas, plus a sofa bed.

The 49sqm Grand Room is a suite in all but name, and the hotel’s most luxurious room option. Each Grand Room features an open-plan layout including a living area with a sofa bed, and an optional balcony.

All of these room types are also available as Club versions (with the Grand Room known as a Grand Suite in this room type). Book into a Club Room and you can enjoy premium facilities, as well as inclusive access to the hotel’s Club Lounge.

Nearby attractions

As expected from its location, Wyndham Dubai Marina is ideally placed for exploring the marina neighbourhood. Head to Dubai Marina Mall for great shopping, dining and entertainment options, plus water-based transport and excursions, or to The Walk at JBR for the area’s lively beachside promenade (and a complimentary shuttle bus service from and to the hotel for both).

The hotel is also very close to Bluewaters Island, one of Dubai’s premier leisure and dining destinations: there’s fun and games at Brass Monkey, plus the legendary Madame Tussauds wax museum, and the acclaimed Cove Beach. Plus find fine dining options such as Demon Duck by Alvin Leung and Alici, one of Dubai’s best Italian restaurants.

Also close-by, kids can enjoy the spills and thrills of the floating AquaFun water park, or super-cool indoor fun at 3D Blacklight Minigolf. And away from Dubai Marina and JBR you’ll also find Ibn Battuta Mall just a few minutes’ drive away – and sights including Dubai Parks and Resorts and Expo City Dubai with easy reach as well.

How to get to Wyndham Dubai Marina

By public transport: The nearest metro station to the hotel is DMCC Metro Station on Dubai Metro’s Red Line: the hotel is around a 20-minute walk from the metro station, or you can hail a cab to take you between the station and the hotel.

By car: If you’re driving from the centre of Dubai, take Sheikh Zayed Rd/E11 towards Dubai Marina, then turn off at Exit 29, from where you can easily reach the hotel, which is on a side road off Al Seba Street. Driving from Jebel Ali you can also exit Sheikh Zayed Road at Exit 29, and then take D94 past JBR, then Al Sayorah Street and Al Seba Street.

As traffic can sometimes be congested around JBR and Dubai Marina, you may find there are faster routes depending on when you’re travelling. You can preview your route on Google Maps.
