Weslodge Saloon allows us to sample just a little taste of life in the Great White North. It's a quirky venue, designed with subtle Canadian touches and cosy alcoves that make you feel like you are in a comfortable living room complete with vintage-framed portraits, mirrors and leather sofas.

There is plenty to catch the eye as it’s set on the 68th floor of JW Marriott Marquis hotel with floor-to-ceiling views that offer up spectacular views... but take a moment to tear your eyes away from the panoramas to savour the food that's on offer.

The Southern fried chicken with spicy tabasco and honey, poutine teamed with pulled short rib, gravy and cheese, and excellent grilled steaks and chops are particular highlights. And, if you want to try a selection of them all, take a group along with you or savour their multi-course brunch with comes complete with a live band belting out upbeat tunes. 

This spot has grown so popular that it also has a sister venue at City Walk. Diners will immediately catch sight of its bright yellow door, behind which you'll find the same relaxed interiors, and delicious dishes and Montreal touches the eatery is known for.
