Adjacent to the nature-focused Mushrif Park, Dubai Crocodile Park dazzles the city’s residents and visitors with more of the world’s wonderfully wild side. Spread across 20,000sqm, the dedicated facility is home to more than 250 Nile crocodiles, living happily between three vast climate-controlled basins featuring placid waterfalls and perfectly-placed sandbanks.

The family-friendly venue allows guests to see how these fascinating creatures go about their lives, and even interact with them at various feeding stations. Meanwhile, an on-site museum delves into myriad crocodile facts, should you care to learn more about them.

‘Jaw-some’ times at Dubai Crocodile Park

Thanks to a breeding programme, you will also find many juvenile crocodiles (adorable to some) milling around a large aquarium. While here, visitors can enjoy the sense of wandering amid an African delta, as the aquarium and outdoor areas are reminiscent of such a landscape.

After a few hours spent admiring the crocodiles’ impressive grins or watching them munch away on tasty treats, you may have worked up an appetite too. If so, refreshments are not far off, as the park offers ample dining spaces to hungry customers. A quirky and fun day out for the family, tickets here are priced at AED75 for children and AED95 for those aged 12 and older.
